B Pre-Care
Do not drink caffeine, alcohol or work out 24 hours prior to your appointment.
No waxing, threading, or plucking eyebrow hairs for 3 days before appointment.
Do not take blood thinning medications (with consent from your physician) and supplements such as vitamin E, Fish Oil, aspirin, niacin, or ibuprofen 24 hours prior to appointment.
Avoid high vitamin supplements (i.e. power shakes/greens & “Hair, Skin, Nail” vitamins) 24 hours prior to appointment.
Avoid intense tanning 1 week prior to your appointment.
Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels, Retin-A and any eyebrow growth serums 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products near brows 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after appointment.
Check your moisturizer, face-wash, BB/CC creams and makeup/primers for acid containing ingredients
If you use Botox, it should be performed 2 weeks prior to or 2 weeks after your appointment.
B After-Care
DAY 1-10: WASH & MOISTURIZE
Gently wash (AM/PM) with antibacterial soap and water; carefully rinse with water.
DO NOT use products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.
Gently moisturize (AM/PM) with rice grain amount of BrowsEyesLips ointment.
DO NOT over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing.
DO NOT SHOWER FOR 48 HOURS.
For 48 hours, limit your showers to 5 minutes.
Avoid direct water pressure on the brows.
Avoid steam showers.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
No products on the brows until it is healed.
No working out, sweaty exercises, or hot weather for the first 10 days.
Do not rub, pick, pull, or scratch the treated area,
AFTER THE HEALING PROCESS
After the healing process is complete, apply sunscreen daily to maintain color.
LB Pre-Care
Exfoliate your lips daily for 7 days before treatment. (Sugar and coconut oil)
Keep your lips moisturized daily
No active cold sore
Do not drink coffee on the day of the procedure.
Do not drink alcohol within 24 hours of the appointment.
Do not work out on the day of the procedure,
No blood thinners: Aspirin, Vitamin E, Niacin, Ibuprofen, or Fish oil supplements for at-least 72 hours before appointment.
LB After-Care
No spicy foods
No Kissing
No pools or sauna
No excessive sweating or working out
No makeup
No picking or pulling the scabs on the lips
Book your touch up after 8 weeks of procedure
No lightners or exfoliators
DAY 1
It is very important to remove the lymph fluid from the surface of the skin in order to prevent heavy scabbing,
Before bed, if the lymph is still there, rinse out with lukewarm water to remove the dry lymph, pat dry, and apply Aquaphor.
Sometimes, bruising can occur after the treatment. Bruising will subside within 24 hours post procedure.
DAY 2-7
Lips may still be swollen. Keep your lips moisturized and do not let the lips dry out.
Continue to apply Aquaphor every 30 minutes throughout the day
